Born in Aunty's House ๐
In the summer of 2026, Subhan was deep in the trenches launching his first startup, Baand. Long days, late nights, and a laptop that never really closed. For a stretch of that summer, home was his own aunty's house.
Anyone who has lived with a desi aunty knows exactly what that means. The questions about when he'd get a "proper job." The surprise guests. The unsolicited rishta updates. The plate of food that appeared whether or not he was hungry โ and the look if it wasn't finished. Every day was a loving, chaotic, hilarious obstacle course.
Somewhere between pitch decks and dodging yet another round of questions in the hallway, the idea clicked: everyone has these aunties. Hundreds of millions of people share the same stories, the same one-liners, the same art of the strategic escape. Yet nobody had ever turned that universal experience into a brand.
That lived experience became AuntyDodge โ a mobile game where you dodge, weave, and survive the wedding, and a growing universe of iconic aunty characters behind it. Every aunty in the cast carries a little of the real ones: the love, the drama, and the perfectly timed guilt trip.
Today, AuntyDodge is built under HUMARAS, the company Subhan founded to create relatable, desi-first entertainment. The mission is simple: take the moments our community laughs about at every family gathering, and give them the stage they deserve.
